- Wash items with regular detergent at a high temperature after treatment, ensuring you check the garment's care label first as high heat is not suitable for all fabrics. - Be aware that if potassium permanganate has deeply burned the fabric fibers, the damage may be permanent. - Consider covering any remaining marks with a thermal patch or by drawing over the area with fabric markers.
