Treatment Protocol
- 1
Lay the item on a flat surface.
- 2
Remove any dry dirt or sand by vacuuming or brushing it off, then moisten the stain with water.
- 3
Clean the area using stain removal wipes such as Udalix, LOC, Salamander, or House lux, as this is often sufficient.
- 4
Apply warm water and soap, scrub the spot with a brush, and rinse under running water.
- 5
Repeat the procedure if necessary.
- 6
Substitute soap with specialized stain removers such as Ringuva, Lion, Sodasan, Cotico, Forest clean, Amway, Ecover, Frosch, or Bagi if needed.
- 7
Wash the item in a washing machine using a detergent designed for sportswear or membrane fabrics, such as WONDER LAB, Septevit, or Salton CleanTech.
- 8
Follow the care instructions on the garment's label to choose the appropriate wash temperature. TIPS: - Do not worry about damaging the fabric with stain-removing soap or universal store-bought stain removers when treating a spot locally.
