Treatment Protocol
- 1
Important: These are protein-based stains, so do not rinse them with hot water. Heat will cause the stain to coagulate, set into the fabric fibers, and become permanent. HOME REMEDIES:
- 2
Rinse the stain thoroughly with plenty of cold running water, preferably from the reverse side of the fabric.
- 3
Apply 3% hydrogen peroxide to the stain and let it fizz; this is safe for both white and colored fabrics.
- 4
Rinse the area again with cold water once the bubbling stops.
- 5
Apply a laundry soap, such as Pure water, Bio Mama, DomDetox, Sodasan, Sonett (coconut-based), or a bile-based soap like Ringuva (Antipyatin is less effective).
- 615 minutes
Leave the soap on for 15 minutes, then gently scrub from the reverse side using a soft toothbrush or silicone brush to push the residue out of the fibers.
- 7Product
Use stain removers such as Ringuva, Lion, Sodasan, Cotico, Forest clean spray, Amway, Ecover, Frosch, Bagi, or Vanish Oxi instead of soap.
- 8Product
Use oxygen-based stain removing sticks like Jundo, Udalix, Meine Liebe, or Faberlic.
- 9Product
Soak the item in a hot solution of powdered oxygen bleach or 100% sodium percarbonate.
- 10
Use Dr.Beckmann “Blood and Protein” stain remover.
- 11
Apply Helmetex extra odor neutralizer for stubborn or set-in smells.
- 12
Use Laina-MS gel to eliminate organic odors like urine, feces, or vomit.
- 13Pro Tip
- Always wash these stains using a long cycle (one hour or more). - After treating the stain, wash with an enzyme-based detergent such as Bimax 100 pyaten or Attack bioEX. - Use BiAsept detergent to eliminate odors. - Add a laundry booster directly into the drum, such as Ecoway, Udalix, Elizar, Belek, Dutybox, 100% sodium percarbonate, or Antipyatin gel, to disinfect and remove odors. - Use Lavatute (Italian) for general laundry or a peroxide-based liquid like Perox for white items.
